Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), you will be warmly greeted by your driver-guide. From there, embark on a scenic drive to Kandy, a journey of about three hours. En route, stop at the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe rescued elephants being fed and bathed in the river. You’ll have an optional chance to bottle-feed baby elephants. Continue your journey to Peradeniya Botanical Garden, a lush 147-acre paradise known for its towering bamboo, vibrant orchid collections, and serene pathways. Upon reaching Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth, a revered UNESCO World Heritage Site housing one of Buddha's tooth relics. Experience the spiritual ambiance during the evening prayer ceremony. Later, enjoy a vibrant Sri Lankan Cultural Show, featuring traditional Kandyan dance and fire-walking performances. The day ends with a short visit to a gems museum, where you’ll discover Sri Lanka’s rich legacy in precious stones, especially sapphires. Overnight stay in Kandy.
